some may have not picked this up, but the cat-butler is non-binary and I love that. How do I know this? Bc they used the pronouns 'they' with the previous character pages. This is literally the best - we rarely see non-binary characters in manga and to see it in one that unabashedly shows that it's okay to be different? God I love this manga. It's practically legendary in my eyes.
And Lied's game also had an "other" option in gender of the avatar. People also used they/them for Pixie before Purson revealed his identity. We have a lesbian idol and gay (or trans woman?) judge. Not to mention many charas are more pan instead of hetro/bi. I really love the LGBTQA+ representation in this series!!!! (≧∀≦)

I love the way the author does this as well - I've seen works where the representation they did was weird and made the characters who are LGBTQ+ conform to the stereotypes that het ppl often give. In this manga, it's all so natural and diverse.
So I think I kinda liked it? I didn't like the way substance abuse was totally normal for the maestro just to get the perfect music. Drugs and art don't go hand in hand. So good on the protagonist for stopping that.
