Sigh, u know I was really annoyed when the mark on her face mysteriously disappeared. I just want protagonists that can own their appearances - scared or otherwise. Show 'em how subjective beauty is.
Instead we got another story showing the 'importance' of beauty. The story might be interesting idk, but this promo didn't convince me to go read the book

Did the art style change?? I'm not imagining it am I?

The first chapter is a promo
Promo is a oneshot manhwa (only has one chapter) to promote the novel, promo was drawn by "just someone who passing by" (the artist's pen name sounds weird but that's really their pen name but in korean)
This year the novel is finally serialized as an actual manhwa, the artist is peatea
So yeah they changed the artist, but the promo and the actual series usually are drawn by different artists so it's common

nope, i dont read the promo. I read the 'walking' scene different from the previous artist. The previous the MC got dog nozzle on him and not that 'tamed'. And the previous artist made the manhwa untill the brother got to the prison to get the FL out.
That's why I'm really confused with the flow of the story, I read it differently, and I thought I was crazy and imagining things

Okay i'm lost
But the one who made by previous artist that already had the scene where the brother got to the prison IS the promo
I mean are you talking about this? This is the promo : http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/i_met_the_male_lead_in_prison/nbt/mpn_chapter-2159454/
Unless you talk about something else that i don't know

Ohhh i'll check chapter 4 and after then... Since i'm curious too
I used to draw too, but i stopped... Maybe that's why i don't notice the quality is worse or better if it's not too drastic, but i thought 'artstyle' refers to the 'style' itself? I mean how the author draw the line and choose the color, etc? Even if the quality changed, it's still the same artstyle for me
For example, the art in the second link is much better but it's still the same artstyle, and i immediately recognize it's drawn by the same author even before i saw the author's name (well the covers look kinda different, but when i open the chapters it's similar) :

But for this author, i notice she totally changed her artstyle
