towards the end, cho ah remembers what mujin did (killing his friends and family). cho ah can’t forgive him so he decides to leave him and go with jisung (RIP jisung). but mujin could not accept that cho ah was leaving him so he decided to accept his destiny and force cho ah to stay instead as sura. i don’t think cho ah was actually sacrificed at the end though
