I really wish aoto and makoto could just stay friends, you know, like gay buddies. but since ones a top and the others a bottom like the author is pushing them to become a couple. its kinda frustrating bc lowkey its just like those straight ships where a guy and a girl cant just be friends and author just turn them into a couple.

To be fair, he was already hanging out with that one gay guy (who was into his brother) and it didn't work out. So the author is at least not really pushing two people together simply because they are both gay. It's hard to meet other gay teens and they seem to really like each other. They also don't have immediate romantic thoughts, but rather a build up which is nice! But I still kinda get you, he talks about having no gay friends to talk to and could use some support. Would be nice if he still finds someone like that in the story.

Yeah, I kinda agree with most ppl in the thread. I genuinely think both aoto and makoto deserve love (especially how unlucky aoto was and that twink lowkey played w makoto ) what bothered me is how their friendship changed so suddenly once they realized they were both gay, that shift felt a little forced to me, cos at first they seemed like really good platonic friends (acquaintances?) but then the author made it seem like just the fact that after finding out theyre both gay somehow created romantic tension ..like the panels after they realised had such a drastic shift from platonic to this romantic vibe(?) suddenly was just odd, still get about how rare it can feel to find other gay teens, so yeah, Ive got mixed feelings. I wouldnt mind if they end up together, but I do wish the story handled the transition from friendship to something more with a bit more realism ig?
Im sorry but the blond dude giving me gay vibes and usually in a love triangle I ship mc with whom they are attracted to cos a third person liking mc and tehn ppl shipping them feel kinda forced, but here I think senpai and mc would be better together.
