Honestly, I can't tell, but I think at this point I'm damn near perfect at deciphering shitty translations, so it flows better in my head lol.
Yeah I’m pretty good at it too, but reading while also having to basically edit everything in the back of your mind simultaneously (especially when the translations start getting so weird that you basically have to mentally rewrite every piece of dialogue) kinda makes reading feel more mentally taxing than enjoyable for me.
I do a ton of editing in my day-to-day life, so I guess it just feels particularly tiresome for me when I have to do it for even for the activities that are supposed to be for my leisure. Like, stop making me use my brain when I’m trying to read my mindless smut!!! Lmao

Since when is yugeon so in control of his guiding powers that he doesn’t even need to have sex to basically insta heal someone? Isn’t the whole point of the sex stuff because it’s the most efficient way of guiding? It seems like his guiding abilities are closely linked to his mental state. At the beginning, he was really struggling, deeply depressed, and even had bad suicidal thoughts. But a few chapters before this, shown signs of his healing and self-acceptance, and that's definitely reflected in how much better he's able to control his powers now - let's also just add adrenaline because of the situation. This isn't a spoiler though, just an observation I made while reading.

Man, I noticed it in the artist’s other works, but the psuedo-hyper-realistic art style just ain’t doing it for me when it comes to the parts that are supposed to be sexy. And since this one is yaoi /and/ horror, the artist is leaning even heavier into their dark/grim/heavily-shaded style of art. The sex scenes make me feel dirty (literally).
