While it could be easy for some to commit to their convictions overnight, others find it hard to do so. That's why most New Year's resolutions fail. Thus, it would be a forced character development on JK if he suddenly treats KD better wihout a trigger incident that would help JK realize that being a jerk is not the answer to helping him achieve what he wants.
I am not defending JK because I like him. What I'm saying is that I understand his actions. I do not have to like him to understand his actions. I understand why the author wants him to be written this way.
I mean, if ALL YOUR LIFE, all you ever knew to get what you want is to be an asshole, why would you change tactics? It wouldn't make sense because it used to work all the time before. Of course JK is not yet groveling on his hands and knees because he wants KD back for his own benefit. He still has selfish reasons.
For him to start groveling, he must start to do it for selfless reasons. He does not understand KD's actions because he still thinks he did not do anything wrong. He has no reason to grovel. He does not want to make it up for his past actions yet because he's not just an asshole. He's a dumb asshole. Take pity on his remaining braincell and let him figure out that not only does he want KD, but that KD deserves every good thing in the world. Let JK figure out that is is not on par with all that good things KD deserves, which COULD START WITH JK REALIZING HE LIKES KD AND NOT JUST SEX WITH KD.

hm.. is anyone smart enough to know that in BJ Alex, Nam Dong-Gyun gave Jiwon a reality check and was direct with him when Jiwon was chasing him. There’s been no communication, so there’s not going to be a realization nor character development unless Dan says something, not acting avoidant, which is going to mad him mad (thankfully) but it’s not going to help.

honestly i thought it was obvious that when people are so stuck up within themselves and are self centered, they’re going to keep acting like that until someone gives them a “reality check”. I’m happy Dan is standing his ground (in a way) towards him but JK is going to keep seeing this as a chasing game, until they communicate. you guys need to relax and be patient or stop reading the story, the 2nd season literally just started. the author literally said “The slower the burn, the sweeter the redemption” and you’re expecting immediate change when there has been no communication between these two. JK is not just going to randomly apologize out of no where because in his POV, he doesn’t know what’s wrong, that’s why he keeps bothering him bc he sees this as an easy game to get him back.
