Basically Psycho is second female lead...(she is showing up more than Medea). She is perfect role for hating. So naive stupid what determination or quick learning? She is just trying to be Medea to live. But she will never be able to be compared to even nails of Lady Medea. If we talk about tragic background, lady Medea gone through much more things. Psycho was just imprisoned. But did she ever get beaten, mistreated or learned to death every single day like Medea. (Just swordsmanship is hard. Can you imagine how hard she worked to became skilled at the young age) Psycho was like hidden treasure. Apart from not being able to see the world or getting cold treatment she was always happy. (Even if it is fake) She didn’t seem to do anything other than reading fairytales as of now.
Perhaps Pysche didn’t have as hard as a childhood as Medea. But Psyche was still locked up, never even allowed to go outsides, and was constantly manipulated and emotionally abused. She had NO freedom. Imprisonment isn’t something that is light, and she was physically abused. Furthermore, the fact that Medea may have had a harder childhood doesn’t mean that Pysche didn’t go throughout hardship as well. That’s like saying that you can’t complain if you are an orphan since there’s orphans in Africa who are also child soldiers. Like wtf.
You don’t know at all how Psyche feel in her childhood. We have no insight into that situation. On the other hand, we do have insight more into Medea’s feelings about her childhood, and in that chapter, Medea basically said she didn’t care. All she seemed was power. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with trying to adapt to her new role to live. And why do you feel the pressure to compare Physche to Medea? They are both strong in different ways. Not to mention that it’s not like Medea is a perfect being. Are we just going to forget the numerous people she killed and hurt to get to where she is now.
Finally, I strongly disagree with your statement that Pysche isn’t strong. Pysche was more sheltered when growing up, but when confronted without the harsh realities of life, she didn’t just give up and despair. No, she worked up her courage and continued to persevere. She’s demonstrated great will and perseverance, as well as adaptability to her new role. Finally, when Pysche is confronted with her mistakes, she never ignores or shrinks back from them. Instead, she apologizes, faces them, and vows to do better.
If you had her upbringing, could you really have done as we’ll as she has? Moreover, it’s much easier to be hateful and become ruthless or cold when faced with hardship or abuse like Medea has. It’s much harder to still be kind, understanding, and forgive other people, which is what Psyche has done.
But towards Psycho there is much more people who like her.
It is more hard to get people’s hate but still be confident and strong. People hates you and accuse you and even your dad kills someone you love or your dad abuse you. Whenever you go people throw you hostile gaze or whisper rumors can you stand such thing.
