it's fine to read and enjoy yaoi, as long as you're aware it isn't reality. like a lot of manga and anime, it's a hypersexualized representation about 90% of the time, and that's not even including all of the abusive and freakin weird tropes (i mean all the pedophillia phew) but regardless it's a form of media, and manga, no less.
