1. Of the 9 sarcophagus, 5 was destroyed but upon MC’s fateful wish, only 1 remained. Who destroyed the 3?
2. If the 3 sarcophagus was destroyed by mom, then, can we assume that maybe, just maybe, Johannes was one of them?
3. If John was a manifestation of a wish, where did he come from? Can we assume that John is the Devil himself? I think this is very likely because the last sarcophagus was the only one of the nine that still contains the devil’s remain: a left wing.
Why left wing? Well, you can see in the art itself that when John transformed, he was missing a left wing so, it could be that everytime a sarcophagus is broken, a part of the devil returns to his form and bit by bit until only that one wing remained.
One can even say that the devil form is the true form and Johannes’ face is due to the devil’s power and also due to a wish, maybe the sarcophagus that was broken for the mom’s wish to have a son contained the torso of the devil——which means that she had freed the “body”.
So, yeah, speculations only. You are free to share your thoughts as well.

but I disagree. I think this is an alternate or rebirth timeline only that how MC remembers the future is through her dreams because in the future her “greatest wish” is to turn back time and change everything.

Season 2 begins with a bang! I am actually pleased that chapter 1 didn’t start as a filler chapter. Can’t wait for the next chapters ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
I have a suspicion that the girl or Tsuzuri (the character in Oui’s novel) is Ayano. At this point I consider Daigo’s words about the real Tsuzuri as shite. Author-san must have lost himself into imagining a more adult Ayano-ish and using Tsuzuri’s name so that it won’t be less obvious. I don’t know why but as I reread the chapters I feel like from the start, there’s already something author-san is feeling while Ayano is indifferent.
Yeah, yeah, I know the excuses—this is historical. Kings of that time has lots of concubines. Yes, I know. I accept that. And not reading fictions with this kind of plot is a choice.
And my choice is nope, nu-uh.
Maybe I am too used with a 1v1 romance so I’ll just go there, to the parts where I won’t be annoyed.

Same it rubs me the wrong way but honestly this is the most realistic renaissance era romance book. I like it because it’s more realistic than most of the other ones.
He also bedded all the other women who were offered to him during the war in every territory. He did not refuse a single one.
I don't blame you for thinking this way because the webtoon did a bad job of painting this as a feel-good, fluffy story where the ML is a pure virgin only to be taken by his love.
Guys, let us bear in mind that the fl is someone from the modern era where killing people is not the norm. Think about it and put yourself in her shoes, a person like you have been indoctrinated by human rights, peace, and to strive to be kind, would you be able to order someone’s death? So. Easily.?!
Our fl is a woman who wants to live and she thinks long and hard on her decisions. She is struggling between survival and principles, case in point why she is teaching Nadricka on being a free person.
So, yeah, if you are the kind of person who would kill so easily after waking up in a different world, I’d say you’re probably a psycho and/or a narcissistic egomaniac.
Overall, I personally like our MC’s actions and would love to see how her character evolves—whether she abandons her conscience and kill those who threaten her or hold fast to her beliefs and cleverly solve her problems.
Idk about you but if I know wholeheartedly and know fully that someone wants to kill me I would kill her first or try to get rid of her. Not quite sure why you would call someone a psycho or narcissistic egomaniac just because you took action or stop before someone else kills you but I as a person does not have the patience to watch how the "Heroine(Villain)" literally play with others to kill me. Her actions aren't quite wrong but it's getting difficult to get rid of the problems clearly she sees that the maid is not giving up to kill her and she rejected a literal golden screen telling her stop. There was also an alternative to gather all the main leads and tell them that this specific maid wants to kill her and give them questionable answers and asks the main leads to be careful not to get played but yet she didn't now she's dealing with butt aches every corner and it won't be to late until the maid finds her weakness the blonde concubine and he'll most likely get played or hurt and it's gonna be her fault but let's see how things go.

Well, the servants ARE negligent. I mean, there are 3 maids and ALL of them took a break? If I put myself in his shoes, I’d be pissed too because 1) that means they don’t think their job is important enough (which is wrong because IT IS important for the yandere-me) 2) they don’t respect their charge since they were AUDACIOUS enough to leave her alone (if this is your baby, would you be a happy none of your 3 maids was there to watch over your sleeping baby?!)
So, in summary, I don’t mind that the sultan punished the maids as this is reasonable for me and also at the same time, this is setting up his character as a STRICT ruler because even if his punishment was over the top, the servants did make the mistake. For the rest, we shall see (he was also a bookworm so probably benevolent too).
Okay but, she was sleeping for 4 days. If I was them, Yeah, I'd go get a damn snack. Like, they just wanted some food. It isn't like they left her for a few days. It was like what? Probably 10 minutes. It was a pretty unrealistic punishment honestly. I don't see why he really killed them for just getting a snack. I can see your point about punishment but the punishment is really too much.
Well that type of stuff used to happen all the time, especially with ppl like kings, SULTANS, pharoahs, and the like....Like of course in this day and age we think that's inhumane but those ppl's lives belong to him so ╮(￣△￣)╭ The punishment is unrealistic now but it used to be a very very real thing.
The pacing is slow and full of Jeanette—this is ungodly and for the life of me I just want to smack Anastacius away—like go away Anastacius, I need Athy x Lucas and Daddy Claude. I don’t need your undead ass. Also, take Jeanette with you.
Most of the chapters are all about athy and claude and some are about lucas. I don't mind if Jeanette is shown in the last few chap, because we need to see her side and POV, which I believe is relevant to the story.
