Are you kidding me! Really?! I hope she is able to win otherwise the prince and her are screwed. Hopefully she is able to win or the Prince's brother might just kill the guard.
Still pissed the guard didn't stop her from drinking the drink. I get his life is at stake but he failed to recognize that the Prince or the Prince's brother may just kill him.
I get the Prince or the rest of the kingdom isn't aware of the brother but still.
Damn I really hope she wins too. I also kinda want other escort to be won over and join their side or at least learn some respect
If the author goes the other way, I at least hope they are able to discover they have her an anesthetic and she either then wins that way or they get to punish the duke a-hole for using underhanded means.
Spoiler:
From what I've gathered here in the comment section and on Tik Tok, our main character has lived this life before. She just doesn't remember it. The MC lived this life then died. It's why she keeps having all those flashbacks. The MC is actually a Saint and in her first life the king had her killed in order to save his love the current Saint. Well after MC was killed she was reborn in our world, and came across the fairy tale that was similar to her previous life. Hell is literally described her previous life to a T. After the MC died in her second life she was reborn again in her first life. The MC just thinks she has her memoires from her last life and thinks any memoires related to this current life are just flashes from the story. She isn't aware that she has already lived this life.

I am just glad that it seems to be a story of betrayal instead of something horrible.
considering she has such a bad reaction towards Kyoko and there's never been any mention of Kyoko's father...I'm pretty sure the story ends in much more than just betrayal.
It's not really much more than that, here's a link to the next chapter: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2211763929/permalink/10153719739943930/
And I don't think this justifies the mother's behaviour towards Kyoko, the child had no fault. I know she must have been a constant reminder, but still.
I have been putting off reading this because I wanted to see if it would be worth it and yes it was. However, I am now an emotional wreck. These chapters are keeping me on my toes and my emotions cannot keep up.
