It was underwhelming. This scene was one of my fave scene in the novel because of how they describe the feelings of Perez (desperation and others) and the struggles of Tia’s love ones while waiting for her to be rescued as well as Tia’s POV. I’m kind of disappointed because this scene in the novel was so good ╥﹏╥

At first, I was scared to start this manga because I don’t want a repeat of the trauma i received from tokyo revengers and I dropped that manga btw bcos I can’t with the story but seriously this is so different and wholesome I’m so glad that I read this. It’s been a while since I felt this excitement after reading a manga.

I love their relationship so much. They really took the time to think about what they wanted to do and honestly talk to each other about their concerns because it’s not easy to tell someone that you are feeling insecure. I love that they both understand and support each other because sometime you just really need to figure out something on your own without help from other people specially if it concerns your own future. I love that Akane decided to think about what she wanted to do on her own rather than be swept away with her love and fear of being away from Abe.
But I’m so pissed with that college girl, like hello? You don’t have the right to judge someone’s seriousness just because they have other priorities. If you cannot multitask and have a relationship while focusing on your goal then that’s on you.
