I could try since I’m fluent in Spanish but I’ve never translated anything before so it’d probably come out pretty bad. I’ll see if it’s possible but if someone who has experience can do it that would probably be better...

Oh, that would be cool! But I think it will require more than translation. I don't really know how they translate Manga from other languages to english, but it usually requires a group of people. Like cleaner, redrawer, scanner, and other people along with a translator. So it's a hassle.

Yeah it does but I know that it is possible with one person (it just takes way longer and will probably be much cruder). Since it’s being translated from a Spanish version that has already been cleaned and redrawn to fit that language, it’s actually a lot easier. I decided to try to do the first page and it’s much easier that trying to clean and write the original Japanese works. Again I’ve literally never done this before so I could be completely wrong.

I would reread this countless times it made me laugh so much like I've never laughed this much on a manga before but this one had all the things that u could expect from comedy to a narcissist uke to having a body switch and the seme attempting suicide soo many times but always failing

There’s just ONE manga which I can always comeback to without getting bored of the story. It’s called „A night of a thousand dreams“.
I‘m always a sucker for storytelling/myths/etc. and this manga portrays these aspects with a lil twist which I absolutely love. It has tragedy (not too much angst but enough to make you heartbroken), comedy and a lil bit of action. Another important point and the „essence“ of this manga is that its plot contains multiple stories which makes it so unique, since I haven’t seen such a thing in the yaoi community before

Thanks for the warning. But I've read plenty dark stuff. Sasayaku no wa Sono Yubi, Hogu Hagyeongsu just to name a few. But I need to be in a different mindset to enjoy these works. Venus ni Seppun was completely bizarre and remained that way till the end lol.

No not at all because the MC is a „storyteller“ and you just know when a sub-story begins when he says smth like „XYZ, let me tell you a story about...(and then it fades to this particular sub-story)“

three stars is when its ok but boring
Four and five are when Ive really liked it, four - if the story is kinda iffy, five if I like everything.
But I mostly dont rate manga at all xD

I do it with a point system. art, story, plot (how to tell a story, something like this. the art can be awesom but when the paneels are shitty...), characters, of course also personal enjoyment. for ok 0 points, good 1point, for awesome 2points. same in the opposit direction bad-1 or -2points. on each category. then I count ╮(￣▽￣)╭ I know its kinda compicated. but dunno lately you see every new 'thing' has a rating of 9 or higher- compre them with (for example) canis and tell me again its the same ... (mmhhh) quality(?) of story/manga.

4/5 if there are things I wish could have been done differently, room for improvement
3/5 so-so, forgettable. Great start but disappointing ending.

I have yet to rate any 1/5 lol to be honest I wish we have rating based on 10 points instead of 5. Some mangas is not quite there for the perfect 5/5 but not that bad for 4/5, so I give them 5/5 anyway.

I do rate 1/5 sometimes. Rarely. But sometimes everything is completely agonizing from art to story and everything in between lol.

I rate depending on the story-line, entertainment, and characters. If I rate 5/5, then I'd want to reread it again and the characters exceed my expectations in terms of development and personality/behavior. A 5/5 rating in regards to entertainment is reading it all in one sitting and giggling like an idiot. I rate stories 4/5 if I feel as if it's rushed but if it's still extremely good, I may reconsider and go with a 5/5. A 3/5 rating is an 'okay' rating, it's like I expected something to change but nothing really changed and that's where character development comes in the most. Anything below a 3/5 is basically saying the story wasn't my type or it was just bad in general.

Oh! I don't know if I would re-read any Manga other than my absolute favourites! Skip Beat! and Namaikizakari would probably be the works I'd want to read again.

Highly recommend Canis! Don’t want to put your hope up but personally, I find it brilliant. I prefer the first 3 (or 2?) books, after that is the on-going spin off.

O M G I feel you. Seems like all the new webtoons/manga with pretty characters and a lot of sex (porno in short) and CUTENESS OVERLOADED or super fucked up story get all the raves and over 9.0 ratings. Some are so bad it hurt my head to read, like Kekkon shite kudasai. Someday I remember an old gem that I want to reread, and it only has 8* rating with about 100-200 votes. Smh

I rate them by plot, pace, and character design/development. If a story is slightly lacking in those then they get a good rating, which is a 3 star rating for me. 3 star is average, it's good, but it's not all that. It's readable but not neccessarily enjoyable. A 4 star is if it has all the rating components or if one or two of the components is done very well and I really appreciated it but it's not 5 star because it ceases to connect with me as a reader. sometimes you just "feel" a story that can not be explained. That's the 5 stars. I felt more than enjoyment and the story actually connects with me as a reader.

Anything less than 3 stars is usually below average reading experience. It just lacks so much in the rating components it's sad.

its truly a great one (art, plot, story, charas)! though.... never read something like this when your head is filled- or its for me. like dont want to think about anything then just 'light food' is better.

I sometimes do if I feel it's way too ridiculous but most of the time I finish it so I can give a fair critique in the comments. I shouldn't be criticizing the whole manga based on 2 chapters.

If it's just an ok story and I know my ass going to forget it, then 3 stars. If I really love it like I keep re-reading the pages when something happens or I get emotional then 5 stars. If it aint the best shit ever but it's my guilty pleasure and Imma re-read then 4 stars (cough Harlequin manga). If it's just dumb af manga plagued with unnecessary shit then 1 star.

Ikr?! though- even just 'porn' ones can be more- if we take a look on zarias works (or is it just my imagine?- no cant be, great art, also plot and never simple charas). also for the fucked up ones- there are so many old ones and just bec. the art is old-style the ranking is below 7 and the new ones... sometimes it makes me almost sad that new ones (manwha, manuha, webtoon whatever) often have better rankings then true good ones. it doesnt mean they are all bad!!! I mean - raising a bat or never understand... but like I said. the ranking nowadays sucks :(

Skip Beat is one of my all time favorite manga and anime. Truly a masterpiece, I'd read and watch it all over again. I love strong and powerful female leads so anything with that fits in that category is a reread for me (unless there are other aspects as well that don't categorize well).

Totally agree! I just love Skip Beat! overall. I love the character development and the plot. The romance could be a little faster, but I don't mind. There's way more to Skip Beat! than the romance aspect. I was feeling very down for weeks after I finished reading it. I couldn't find anything similar or better than Skip Beat! It's a masterpiece.
