Basically they were shackles that the creepy 4th princess would put on her servants that couldn’t be taken off until the servant died. Phinieus was curios on how they worked and tried it on, but failed to take it off as well no matter how hard they tried. Seeing how Pershati and Islette were able to take it off it seems to be connected with the time traveling and curse. It’s first mentioned in chapter 88! :))
