My theory is
Mr. Teach actually has psychotic episodes that lead him to attack his family, killing his (maybe) other family members around him and then he got attacked by his father trying to stop teach from killing him. As a result father beat teach’s head with that (maybe) book and that made teach regain consciousness for a sec before being hit again and blacking out. Teach didn’t actually teach anyone but only finished his degree and is gonna teach the kids up to what he knows. And Mr buff hot man with the tatts is actually one of the zombies but he managed to keep a bit of his humanity because he felt he still had a purpose before he turned, therefore only accepting people who are “usefull”. And the reason why he’s gotta keep his head clear is because since he’s half cuck-coo already, alchohol and substances make him loose grip.
