Can I give my opinion as a random user on the internet and say this was a nothingburger storyline? There’s no real relationship progression. All the subplots did nothing. Maybe my memory fails me but the main character never even admits liking Ilic, not even to himself….and this one is more subjective but the art style at the beginning was more compelling.
