So Chase doesn't remember Josh he sees Josh as somewhat unusually attractive for a beta when they met again. U can say they have enemies to lovers trope. If u ask me, the author was trying to caption a sexual tension between them. This sexual tension blooms into love after Josh saves Chase from a bunch of hyenas. Their sexual tension in this part coupled with cigarettes is so hot btw. After that, Chase is eating vinegar (jealous) to Pete's "mom" after eavesdropping to Josh'd convo with Isaac saying he's the only person Josh is going to be with her if she comes back. (There's no mom, that's the lie Josh says cuz he can't really say he's with Chase cuz that man can't remember )

The first part of the story, you can describe Chase as an ASS. He's mean to everyone (yes including Josh), he's unstable, lowkey has a drug addiction because he'll drink a large doses of it just so he could sleep and be stable. It's largely influenced by his fear of dogs, to the point he faints when he sees one. He's scared of it because he thought he fucked a dog when he was in rut, which isn't true at all. It's Grayson's (Chase's brother) lie to manipulate Chase into following him to an orgy party to get sedated, and no, he doesn't fuck anyone. Grayson just makes him think he is, but he actually gets sedated.

Let's get back to Chase being mean. He doesn't care about anyone than himself, to the point of making his bodyguards experience HELL. In one instance, Josh beats Chase up because Chase's action harmed Henry and others. (Y'all will be satisfied with this too, not just Henry and the gang when it happened). There's this one actor who talks shit about Chase which made him mad, he bit his tongue off that actor (yes, you read that right). Tbh with yall I can't remember more because the shit he does kept piling. Like Pete, Chase also hates beans. So when Josh made steak, he added poison aka beans to get back at Chase.

Chase is more human compared to other Dominant Alphas. That's why he's that traumatized and that easily influenced by Grayson. He has emotions that Grayson can only imitate. That's why Chase's guard is up, making him mean to everyone. That guard is only broken down by Josh because only Josh can put up with him. I believe he is subconsciously attracted to Josh after they met again. Josh being a saint he is, does have a soft spot to Chase bc Chase is his first love (yall see in the 1st chapter when baby Chase is wearing a dress? Yes, that's when Josh liked him first). Josh says Pete resembles chase, thats why when Chase has mannerisms similar to his kid, he can't help but be soft to Chase. All in all, after they made Pete, they never slept nor had any other partner other than each other because:

1. Josh is Marked
2. Josh likes Chase
3. Chase is too mentally unstable
4. Let's just say Chase does remember marking someone and tried to find them but was scared that it'll turn out to be a dog

Chase cares though. Being human enough, his first reaction when he knew it was Josh who he slept with was to asked if he raped him, which Josh replied that it was consensual. THIS BEATS KEITH IN SO MANY LEVELS

Definitely better than Keith AND Grayson. I heard that Grayson also has his own story but I feel like it’d be toxic, I feel like Grayson is even worst than Keith(maybe) especially bc he’d force his own brother to come to an orgy and manipulate his mind.

Tbh I'd like to see how Grayson's story goes. Until now, I have no clue what Dane's orientation is. But what I do know is while Dane is a good guy in KML, he is very distanced as a person especially when it comes to romanic relationship. So I can't see how their dynamic is going to be.

I kind of feel sorry for Grayson, because i think he is really frustrated that he can't feel any emotions. And you can see that he "in his way" (he is def. bad at it...^^") cares for Chase. That's my take after reading the side stories, where he has an short appearence "without his mask". I think that in Grayson's case he is victim on when he presented, if too early they are unable to feel any emotions.

Dane, the dominant omega.... He sleeps around as much as the alphas as in one night stands, only difference: he manages to stay on friendly terms with them. He even had several partners at the same time once.... . Not interested in relationships, not interested getting together with an alpha, doesn't believe in love.

Add anything else one knows about those two.

My impression so far is: they are both their worst nightmare.XD

In the side story of KLM they are most likely together, since Keith acts so chill", when he sees those pictures of Dane and Yeonwoo when they went shopping for toys.

wow thanks for taking the time to type down all of these. it's nice to get a heads up about Chase. i was spoiled some time ago that he was gonna come with lotsa baggage but to think it's coz of trauma that kinda makes him even more interesting as a character. Keith was an ass in KML and it was never shown why so i assumed he was always like that and then Grayson was introduced and i guess birds of a feather really do stick together lmao. i kinda wanna see Grayson's story as well now, like i want Dane to wipe the floor with him but i hadn't seen any other info on Grayson and Dane's supposed story but after reading what Grayson did to influence Chase, he needs to get whipped for playing with his brother's head like that (like come on, a dog?? seriously Grayson???) at the same time it'd be nice to see Grayson change, assuming that's in the cards for him. also! i find it kinda funny that Chase and Josh's story involves someone forgetting the other after a marking was done, like with Keith and Yeonwoo, but the part where you said that Chase asked if he forced himself on Josh and the latter assuring him that he didn't, that kinda sealed the deal for me about Chase. i think he's a lot more tolerable compared to Keith or Grayson for that matter despite the fact that he is gonna be difficult as you described. guess we'll see how it'll go as the story progresses...oh and the hyenas you mentioned, i assume they're actual hyenas now knowing that Chase has a fear of dogs? coz i initially thought you meant hyenas like people who act like hyenas especially since Chase is a celebrity

the part where one of them is gonna fall first.... i honestly want it to be Grayson and then Dane initially rejects him. another reedeem-yourself-first trope lol. but i always wanted someone to pull Grayson off of his high horse ever since i first got to know him in KML. he ticked me off despite him being a side character there and now knowing that he manipulated his brother with lies involving a dog i wanna see Grayson grovel for once haha!

Can I ask is the child in chapter one the child of mc and ml. If so does the uke knows seme is the dad and does seme know he has a kid

I also noticed what I put down is full of things about Chase and less about Josh. The story is mostly narrated in Josh's perspective so I guess that's why I remember little about Josh. :")) for the whole part of the story, he's really weak to Chase's looks and he detests his difficult personality.

I remember they had a talk about it and it's particularly sad. Josh does admit that he likes his looks (he's blunt ik) but beauty is superficial and disappears as you become old. He confronted Chase along the lines of (Non verbatim btw) "would anyone care about you once your look fades and you're only left with that personality?" It made Chase shut up. Ik it's about Chase again but it tells that Chase got nobody to trust, or lean on but Josh only. And I'm really impressed by Josh and his love for this man bc even with red flags all over, he still chose him. He's the only one who recognize that beneath his shitty personality is a broken man who can't put himself together. It's sad to know that Chase was actually a sweet kid full of empathy, but his environment made him like that. I guess that's the curse of being in a family full of dominants, it makes them detached to being a normal human.

Josh knows Chase is the dad, but Chase doesn't know he has a son (and a mate). He doesn't even know Josh (and that that is his mate) lol

oh gosh you're making me love them even more especially Josh and i can already tell he's gonna have a protection squad behind him as we get more chapters and we see Chase being a dick (aka angry comments from readers haha).
