Sadly I had actually been rooting so hard for Khaol and River but now I’m actually glad they didn’t work out because I was so uneasy of how Khaol kept letting his stupid hatred get in the way of making good decisions that would help River and their relationship. He barely tried to help EVERYTIME Lari came around. It was always Heil who saved him, Heil who made him genuinely happy, and actually cares and puts River first .
