I’m not even mad about some of the more controversial elements, but I think the execution could have been better. First chapter was pretty dramatic and interesting, but the second chapter wasn’t written as well (imo).
Here’s what I remember:
- Vaguely Mediterranean/Middle Eastern setting
- MC is a beautiful guy who often gets mistaken for a lady
- MC is a twin and his twin sister is arranged to get married to a local rich merchant’s son, but she runs away with a guys she loves to escape the marriage. MC then takes his sister’s place and marries the guy.
- MC had long either purple or white hair
- ML was slightly tan and had short black hair.
I remember it had like a 2-3 volumes, and honestly I just wanted to see if it had any updates but realized I may not have saved it.

Same.. I last read up until ch30 about a year ago and now I see ppl saying mc turning into white lotus, which I don't understand what lol
it's an asian character trope, basically used to describe a weak and helpless personality (white lotus = pure) but also naive and stupid. like maythan rn, weak and useless. black lotus = two-faced hypocrite who appears pure on the surface but is scheming (like typical villainess character or the new prince character). green tea is something similar but they use smarter schemes.
