I'm sorry, but it's so hard for me to forget how they casually gloss over the r*pe scenes, and how the ml was cheating on his gf. I know he turned a new leaf, but it's hard for me to accept someone who could betray others so easily would change just because he supposedly found the one. Not to mention the mc is too naive...anyways, I'll keep reading this to see how it ends.
Gloss over? What story are you reading?? The new chapter literally has Nakwon deeply regretting what he did. And Mokhwa bit and cursed him because he hasn't forgotten. This manhwa is one of the very few where the character actually reflects on his actions and you're complaining.
Exactly. It’s so rare for you to actually see the seme actually pursue and regret what they have done and where the bottom doesn't just forget the horrors and moves on after 2 chapters. The pacing pays off cause we actually feel like he is repenting. This is a beautiful story. Nakwon did wrong but he said sorry and openly regrets and has done so much to make up for it. He isn’t haughty and doesn’t expect Mokhwa to forget or move past it but is happy that he remembers. He is actually a red flag that’s turning green. Not like other bls where they turn from red to a lighter shade of red cause the redemption arc is so short and inconsequential
For real. If anything this is THE story where the top goes through hell to get the bottoms forgiveness after what he did to him. The author had been working so hard in his redemption. And some people are still out here “bUt He RaPeD hIm”. We know! And the author has addressed it time and time again. Reading comprehension down the drain istg.
They glossed over it by making the mc act like it's no big deal, and by adding it when it wasn't even necessary to the plot itself.
He forces himself on the mc regardless of how much he regrets. He kissed the mc without his consent, gave him things without asking for his approval, then whined when the mc didn't want it. Let's not forget how he had the audacity to get mad at the mc for not reciprocating his feelings because of the things he offered him.
Why do romance stories always gotta involve a r*pe scene? It ruins the mood, not to mention the horrendous excuses to justify this behavior. Yeah, this is a 2/10 only for the art.
