I feel like this should have at least two more chapters in the middle to flesh out the characters a bit more. I loved the story just felt it was a bit too fast passed to truly understand the characters
Ok I’m calling it now the two guys following him (Nan Feng and Fu Yao) are actually their respective generals (Feng Xin and Mu Qing) who served under the mc
1. It’s weirdly coincidental that they each HAPPENED to be from the two generals who were friends and care takers of Xie Lian
2. They seemed somewhat familiar with his behavior like how Fu Yao constantly roles his eyes or they each make comments. That’s weird to do to someone you just met who is a higher rank than you
3. They seem to both take care of him or are genuinely worried about him.
4. They have the same personalities as the generals they serve. Fu Yao gets overly mad when tossed the broom as it has to do with general Mu Qing past...but it’s a little too mad to be about someone else’s past
5. Going back to the one above I think Hua Chang knows they’re the generals and purposefully does stuff to piss them off

On point 4, in the novel all of the Junior officials under him get mad over any reference to brooms or sweeping not just Mu Qing.
Well at least one of the students on the fifth floor is nice. I hope the other one is too, but my experience tells me they probably won’t be.
I like the idea of this I just feel like they didn’t spend enough time on the plot. A story as long as this one needs to have a more engaging and deep plot then it actually does. All the side plots are repetitive, like with her feeling sorry for asisi(?), and the main plot drags a lot and isn’t very cohesive. I also feel like it doesn’t really have a set problem(s) or villain(s) that could make the story more dynamic
For example: if they had shown the uncle leading revolts against the empire in this past arc and talked about it in the arc before it. Like hid him in shadows and made him seem mysterious, itwould have been a much better build up for his character
But he like just appeared and kidnapped her, so you feel nothing as a reader
It’s a sorta interesting story but the plot needed to be fleshed out more
Summary:
Rathians have 6 goddess who are seen as good- the four elements and light and dark- and each has their own following such as the order of light and the dark brotherhood. There is also an evil demon god ormphalus(idk) who has been sending over earthlings with guidelines to try and kill the goddesses for about 40 years at this current point in the story.
The 4 great heroes fought against the earthlings 20ish years ago when they tried to kill the goddesses and won. After that they got blessed with eternal youth BUT were also told when they would die.
This caused them to side with great earth and the earthlings to try and kill the goddesses and take their power. Great earth also has the dragons on their side as well.
The dark brotherhood (people in masks) serve the goddesses of darkness who was captured by two of the heroes who are now using them to get other parts of the blessing of the demon god so that they can go after the other goddesses.
Not sure if I got everything, but this is kinda what’s currently been happening for anyone confused

It’s kinda confusing on whether he wants to meet one or all of the goddesses, but he does want to ask them to help him kill ormphalus. As to if he goes back to earth, he did mention it but I feel like he’ll probably stay on Rathna considering he’s like 47 years old and has not seen earth for like half of that and his friends there

When caius sends kouichi back I feel like kouichi is going to be pregnant. They’ve brought it up several times so my thought is: caius sends him back, they’re both depressed for a bit with kouichi showing early signs of pregnancy before finding out he’s pregnant, then 1. Caius brings him back cause he misses him and then finds he’s pregnant 2. Caius brings him back back because he’s pregnant or 3. Kouichi contacts caius tells and tells him he’s pregnant
