At first I was a bit iffy with the art style and how the whole slave thing worked, but mygod after binge reading it I came to love everything about it. I just love how they're like star crossed lovers that continues to struggle with the weight of their past. I just love their development especially Igen who acts like a child everytime he's lovesick. It's one of those stories where you can't really put the blame between the main characters bc of their circumstances and their past. I really hope for at least a happy ending for all of them!

so the cat fetish thing has got to do with the fact they were friends when they were kids and the blonde guy's cat died and was devastated so the black haired guy proposes the fact that he should act as a cat substitute,,,,,,,, also uh they end up together in the end bc even though the black haired guy was able to escape he still chose to be with the blonde dude
