I didn’t dare to say that part bc I already got ate up here for talking about that. But yeah so many artist buy backgrounds or props and it’s ugly and out of place smh. If they can’t do it or don’t want to do it maybe they can pay someone else to do it.
I agree that it's ugly but artist are already overworked and when you can't just "pay someone to do it" especially when it's serialized with contracts and all. Don't forget that they have to put out a decent chapter every week
I didn’t elaborate but honestly I think it’s not up to the artist to pay for an assistant but the company, Especially for adaptations like this one. And it’s certain genre that uses bought stuff more than others, the popular and mass produced ones (isekai, bl, some modern romances but less than the lather two.) so I’m pretty sure companies can invest in assistants so we can actually have decent chapters every week.
Every week rather than making relevant comments people whine about the possibility of romance. Like we get it you don’t want romance, no need to say it every week. Like it’s super annoying.
The chapters are so short. at this rate they’ll only start dating on chapter 200.
Stopped reading at chapter 8. The author is very weird to use a black man’s (possibly George floyd) deaths as a plot device in a romance/drama story and centering Korean in it. Is there even a Korean community there ? Plus, I checked on webtoon and they removed the part about the riots being about « a black man’s death » so they knew it was inappropriate. And the art is weird as well, I don’t understand the rating.
Above all it was a really good webtoon and the art was quite lovely, a shame you didn't get to experience it all the way but oh well
Do you guys remember how a few years ago most manhwas would just go on without making it several seasons ? Like yes there were hiatus but we didn’t have to wait months for a new chapter on some crazy cliffhanger. Some manhwas go on season break for a whole year TT. (It’s fine tho, I know authors need rest and a break but I just miss those times…)
