I think what they meant was that the ML doesn't deserve to be used. Then again, he did consent to it although I think it is iffy considering that she emotionally manipulated him into it.

Yeah like the prince wanted someone to tell him what to do and in previous life it was his mother and now it is the fl but either way he did not have any desire of his own to do anything particular in life.In his previous life he even lived devoid of emotion and human relations after his mother's death at least now he has someone else he loves??(tho him loving her feels wrong Ngl but I guess they both heal each other)
The fl is too damaged and the role of healing which we usually see is given to the fl in a story with regards to ml here is given to the ml which I find interesting.
Also the fl has gone thru too much shit for 400 years being used by rulers and has started seeing the empire the way a ruler does you know how when you look at the people from a very high place you only see the top of their heads as if the were chess peices on a board so you wouldn't feel bad getting them killed but if you actually get down and walk past them you realise they are people with their own lives.This basically is the reason why she is willing to have em all killed besides none of the people in empire helped her and happily sacrificed her for their own good so she thinks "why should I not" because for her also only her life should matter and so I agree with her(づ￣ ³￣)づ

Yeah but I just feel like the pople who were in power ignored her, but what about the commoners? She's advocating for the entire empire to be destroyed. It's not like every single person in the empire did this to her, right?

Okay some deails might be wrong but like I read the early chapter some time ago so I don't remember clearly.So.She was a hot topic in all of the empire that they had finally found a person worthy of being the sword.Actually the people who would be more responsible would be her family and the king but noone else ever felt pity for her like literally none felt awww that poor little girl and I kinda of understand not doing anything to stop this but to not feel any pity for that person like she is to give up her life for them whilst making her kill against her will while also blaming her for the killing instead of the person weilding the sword.
Everyone was selfish which makes sense for 90% of the people in the empire cause they didn't even know her and even for alot of others being selfish isn't necessarily a REALLY BIG CRIME,everyone is bound to be selfish and care for their own family and children and friends buuut the fact still remains that she had to suffer a really grt deal because of their greed.And if everyone else gets to be selfish so will she,it's just that she's too smart and powerful to be made into an enemy and now they're gonna learn that little fact in practice .
ACTUALLY the person she is angry with is the emperor using her and the public blaming her for killing while also forcing her to kill in their dirty political games.People she should really be angry with should be her family and as we witness in almost all Korean novels you don't do anything to family even if they skinn you alive,if you're related by blood cause....SPOILER-She kindaaa forgives them family later.
And I absolutely hate the father! Don't make you wife give birth to children till she dies if you actually love her so much you as†hole.
