i honestly hate nami being weak, i mean yeah shes hot,smart and beautiful but why would u waste a main character when she is just being useless and just having atleast 2-3 episodes where each is about 6 or more is where she'll pop out and needs a saving...pls oda-san dont let nami be useless again especially when one piece is nearly ending (that feeling when watching an episode that takes 2 weeks to update feels like its only yesterday) well atleast i like the funny moments when nami being angry
Even Robin who was supposed to be a total badass has for the most part been kicked to the curb. The big fights are always Sanji, Luffy, and Zoro. Even Usopp had a huge part in the Dressrosa arc and Brook in the Whole Cake Island arc. I hope they do the same for Nami and Robin soon.
i feel bad for nami cause the only reason shes being looked down is because they made her that way,i mean it isn't the character fault right?
Ya. It's just like how in Naruto Kishimoto basically made all female characters trash from start to end. Sakura was supposed to be hella strong with all the power ups she got but even now people still call her trash cause she never did shit in the story even towards the end.

I love both actually. I'm a big fan of Clamp and the Blood series. The Blood C movie is one of my favorite movies of all time and I've watched the og Blood: The Last Vampire like 3 times. I wish Clamp had kept on going with Blood-C cause theirs is my favorite adaptation.
I don't think there's anyone as badass as Saya but maybe try Gokusen if you haven't. Kumiko is an awesome woman. Yuuko from Clamp's xxxHolic is also amazing but she's not the fighting type. She's just really wise.
Guess this is the difference of authors, I mean women mangaka like Clamp will know how to write about female characters while men would be more familiar to write about male characters. I think Fairy Tail was the one shounen I could think of right now that have a strong female lead like Ezra that even the male leads knows she is one of the strongest.
I agree with you about the lack of badass fights with women... I know Oda has real difficulties to draw women (he confessed the hardest was hancock and then girls in general) but I would rrally love a good fight scene with Robin or Nami
I find this so true. Even Okamoto Lynn who's main characters are often female really sucks at making real female characters. All his females end up being stereotypical.
i wish when the nami arc comes i wished the womans would be cool so that they wont look down on...i mean look at lucy from FT she was once weak but as the seasons change shes slowly leveling up
I've never disliked a character more than Lucy. She was made a main character for no good reason and the author always tried to make her important but in the end her character wasn't properly developed. You can't rely on her for any important fights. All she ended up being was a mascot for fanservice. Fairy Tail without Lucy would still be Fairy Tail just like One Piece without Nami or Nico Robin would still be One Piece. Mashima isn't good at character growth. From end to beginning the strong characters in FT remain the strong characters, and the weak characters remain the weak characters. Oda knows how to do good character growth but he doesn't know how to deal with female characters.
