Reina's Manga

The first season was great. It has a balance of action, sentimental, and humor (i laugh a lot!) However, the second season is more geared towards politics and romance. I kinda felt hopeless because Pauli is too masculine and seems to have shredded all of her femininity. Like there's not an ounce of romance feeling Pauli have in her that I feel sad for the emperor (T T) ....will still read this but keep fingers crossed hoping it's not too hopeless.

*Update 188 - Ahhhhhhhh this is what I feared since a while ago. Even when I read at around chapter 160-180 which are romantic sweet chapters, I always suspect it would come to what it will be in 188. I felt a heartache when it actually happens TT_TT
But honestly, this totally make senses. If Paulina decided otherwise and everything has a very sweet happy ending, it will contradict her character. I feel loyalty, knighthood, and self-achievement as female are her core character values. If she just decided to give up everything and become a traditional woman expected to see in any historical shoujo story, the romance might seems happy to the readers but it will totally not be satisfying to me and it is not consistent with her built-up values at all.

Nonetheless, I still hope to see a compromise where the emperor and Pauli can end up in some way, without her having to give up on her values…Pleaseeeeee author-nim
