I Became the Wife of the Monstrous Crown Prince
The Way That Knight Lives As a Lady
It has a lot of potential in the beginning and how they laid out the structure of the plot and MC character, however I read and felt that it started to really get downhill around chapter 70+ (season2) or so onward.
The FMC has so much potential to be a strong feminine with logical sense and be a charismatic female figure. However, the author makes her personality not suited to my taste: around the first arc she is talented in sword, independent, self-reliant, and righteous in the right situation. Heck I’m even impress with the author idea of “self-love” when MC encourage her noble lady friend to love herself and see herself important more than the family’s honor. That’s so wow for me. It’s so realistic and a good life lesson for any human in real life.
However, she is clever about political and social exchange with antagonists, but made to be “conveniently” but very annoyingly dense regarding romantic aspect. She’s also strong and manly in other aspects, unlike common female characters, but also too girly, overly dramatic and helpless against the main antagonist (Khalid) it’s so ridiculous. Like she can’t do a f*cking thing to the man who stabbed and beheaded her. She just keep whining to understand why he killed her and just cursed at him all the time at every exchange, but done nothing else for her homeland independence or better the situation she’s in, or even try to take revenge on the man who betrayed her. It’s frikking ridiculous I can hardly continue to read and the bad translation didn’t help *face palm*
So in conclusion, it used to have lots of potential but executed badly since 2nd season regarding the attitude and actions FMC took towards main , so I will have to drop this.
