Both hugh and lucia are very introspective and emotional characters and the manhwa doesn't really capture that, i think. The way they yearn for each other in the novel but refuse to show it on the outside (mostly lucia) is just so good

It mostly has to do with the details of how they truly fall in love!!! in the manhwa it just happens all of a sudden which isn’t UNrealistic but it’s just not something that would happen to hugh. Another thing is that we really get a feel for how their dynamics work, and how exactly it is that they live their life. It’s just incredible I really really recommend it!!
Guys read the novel instead it’s so so so good! The webtoon is unfortunately very subpar in comparison :(

I guess novel form is better for slow romance
