I really hate it when a character tries to use love to save their own butt, especially when they know the other person loves them. I'm glad we don't have to see that kind of drama, at least not yet.

So at the start I liked him, but now I don’t. At all. What an jerk, he knew he wasn’t supposed to go there, but he wanted some dirt on the Queen so he completely disregarded the rules. Then, he tries to run and when that doesn’t work he says he’ll keep her secret and won’t betray her. Well, you already betrayed her!!!(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Sigh, okay I’m calm again. Did anyone else think of Arabian nights when he starts telling that story? I was like “ oh, so now he’s gonna have to tell a story every night to stay alive.”, but it turns out that he was just using it as an example. He’s starting to act like he can do whatever he wants without any consequences, I hope she punishes him somehow.

I’ve never read a book where it’s from the villain’s POV, but they still die as a villain. I wasn’t planning to continue reading if she had become Elisa. I didn’t like the idea of them having soulmates only for her to completely disregard it and take over Elisa’s life. I’m so glad she became the sister instead. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Not manhwa but the second book in the bridgerton series with kate and anthony bridgerton has the rhe EXACT same dynamic. Hot marriageable aristocrat wants to marry the younger innocent belle of the ball but falls for the rowdy and loud sister instead. She's also considered a spinster, and the moms are to die for. I cant help but think that they were the characters this story was modeled after lmao
