im just sorta confused bc I think I've been reading it since it came out and jus can't get my head wrapped around how the villainess tricked the family. I understand the whole "accused/traitor kill the MC past life thing" but whats up with the whole confused identity thing? like did the villainess switch identities with MC with the black magic or just only accused her? maybe it's just been too long for me so I can't remember...but I also tried to reread it maybe I just missed it?
She brainwashed them and basically took the MC's place in the family. Their feelings for MC were redirected towards the villainess.
So they are now getting back some bits of memories and remembering how much they used to love Alyssa before being brainwashed into hating her.
