This guy did literally everything wrong. Downplayed his boyfriend's feelings and acted like he was making a big deal out of nothing (despite it being clear that anniversaries are important to him), then picked up a half-assed, generic gift as an apology. Couldn't even call off work for a day to spend time with him lmao. Even if anniversaries aren't important to YOU, you should want to make your boyfriend happy, right? It's easy enough to put a date in a calendar and go along with his plans. Sheesh. I actually liked this story though, believe it or not. Cute art
