I haven't finished this one yet, but I personally find characters who are so floaty and childlike really unappealing. Beyond his appearance, he acts like a 5-year-old, which is just...incredibly unattractive. But clearly, neither of the protagonists feel the same way. And on that note, they are both ridiculously shallow, although they like to act like they're morally superior to the partners they broke up with in pursuit of this empty-headed pretty boy. We'll have to see how my opinion changes by the time I finish this.
Edit: Dropped it, so I guess I'll never know what direction it took.
This really brings me back. I have now read this three times over the years, and I've enjoyed it every time. It's so nice and unstressful. No unnecessary drama - just pure, unbridled fluff and cuteness

The only reason this could even be considered shounen ai is because the author is a BL mangaka. You can hold hands with your cousin without it being romantic. It's a pretty familial thing to do, especially if you used to do it as kids and are doing it now for old time's sake
Looking at the comments, it feels like we read a completely different manga. That, or people are just grasping for straws/relying very heavily on their imaginations
The cover also doesn't seem to match up with the characters in the story at all
Like, seriously though. Just read it, and I thought the whole point is that they're close like their fathers are to each-other. Like brothers, and best friends.

Exactly. People see what they want to see, but on the face of it, this is just a story about cousins who are sad that they'll have to be apart

Not sure why this is marked as shounen ai. Anyways, this was good. It's too bad the friendship was one-sided in the end. Hae-in was basically referring to himself when he said you shouldn't expect anything from your "friends"...
