I agree so much! I also never liked the MC because of her behavior.

Blaming those around her: remember when she finds out that Dowon actually lied to her and she told him to apologize to his "victims". First of all, how the hell are those dudes victims of his lies. Even though what he did was wrong, that had nothing to do with the MC fucking the other dudes. Also, she makes it seem that she is a victim of the incident even though she sexually assaulted a stranger; I know it's super messed up for others to mess her up and confuse her but doesn't excuse her from treating the other however she wants. There is also the problem with her ex. Trust me when I say that I freaking hate the hypocritical ex but she did in fact cheat on him. She may have not penetrated chulsoo but she did use him to relieve her sexual desires, sex doesn't equate penetration! Though the breakup was mostly the ex's fault, she did have some part in it.

Cruelty to puppies: IDK what's going on her mind but I think she probably does see them as puppies or some shit because goddamn. Remember when dorim asked chulsoo and the MC if they were in relationship and Chulsoo and he was pretty ambiguous about it; she freaking slapped him! She didn't have to slap him and make him bend over and shit! She also left and didn't say a word to any of her lovers, like the fuck! You can't expect to ghost someone, come back , and expect everything to be the same! Like she had 4 puppies but she gets mad when Dorim went to experiment with another dom even though she constantly says that she's not in a relationship with anyone? Also, I'm pretty sure she mentally broke Dorim. He was already pretty insecure about his identity and then she orders him around to be his brother, the cause of his insecurity; he basically becomes whatever she wants by the end of ch. 44 or 45.

One last important note, she treats them like puppies most of the time. Like it's ok to do that in the bedroom but it's no longer ok outside in real life. There is suppose to be conduct and respect in any relationship, be it as lovers or sex buddies, especially in a s&m relationship. She can't constantly treat them as if they are below her and she is above them and they must always follower her commands; only in the bedroom, not in the real world.

It's not about the way you dom, it's about being a decent human being. You can be cruel in bed (if it's consensual) and still be nice in real life. It's not the case with Ye-eun. She just comes off as bitchy and insensitive to others.

I think it's both the way she doms and how to be a decent being. I know people find it boring to see, but not once do you see her going over things with the guys who are completely new to it and are interested in pursuing it with her. When did she ever have a conversation to say, "What do you think about being called my puppy? I have more than one person in my life."

It is 100 percent fucked up that she assaults her ex boyfriend twice and uses his interest in Dowon to punish him for something that she hasn't moved on from. Yes, definitely traumatic to get into an argument with your insufferable boyfriend who can't see your side of things and is super belittling, only to have your toys come flying out in public. You don't shove a giant dildo up his ass and have his crush's twin pretend to be said crush!! Also... why the hell did Ye-eun bring those toys with her to a vanilla setting when she had a big fight with said bf??? Or have a lock on that container's zippers? (No excuse at all for Jinha's treatment of her during that fight scene. He went over the line getting into a public fight and grabbing her.)

You can absolutely be cruel in BDSM in terms of how much pain, humiliation, or pleasure you give them. But there's a difference when that cruelty is based on personal feelings and not actually caring about the bottom's/sub's pleasure. At one point she said (to Dowon I think), "we have to keep our emotional relationship and our physical relationship separate". Such a bald faced lie! It is absolutely a trope in BL that one person can act this way to their partner, and it still sucks to see that. But sometimes you see that character realize what they've done wrong and try to repent for that. I don't see that happening here at all. Σ(っ°Д °;)っ

It took me 5 chapters to figure out but its her lack of character depth. Like, she’s a sweet nice kind whatever blablabla girl who likes medicine and her life sucks kinda but not really. I like the MCs from I Chose The Emperor Ending and The Albert Daughter Wishes for Ruin since they have personalities and actively move the plot with their actions. Could be worse though, she could be the MC from Savior of the Villian (〜￣△￣)〜

I love so many Chinese novels! Unfortunately a lot of adapted manhuas doesn’t properly portray the novel and cause many people to create the stereotype that all Chinese manhuas are all about rape and falling in love with the one who did it, etc, and people tend to just bash everything about it in a hateful manner (even though there are plenty of great manhuas).
