Gotta be one of the most annoying endings I’ve seen in a yaoi. I’m glad the two got back together and mc was hella mature the way he went about everything but like the siblings are both assholes and the way we didn’t even get to see the makeup sex is also hella annoying but most of all we don’t even get to see how things turn out with the side couple like are you kidding
I love tsuraga so much he deserves the whole world. He’s is such a good friend to mc and even accepted his love would not be returned with grace. Like bro deserves his own story and love cuz I legit couldn’t even pay attention to the last few chapters and feel happy cuz all I could think of was his pain
Can we talk about the fact that this is just omniscient readers viewpoint. Like the whole concept is exactly the same. Mc is similar just more of a menace. Even the side character to similar to joonghyuk from orv as far as his relationship with the mc goes.
Dokja and jinhyuk both use their knowledge of the game/book to strategize and manipulate situations. Both have a level of charisma that they use for their benefit and both like to bully the second male lead. Theyre both kinda sassy too. The biggest difference is that power wise jinhyuk is more op and is more of a menace and dokja is a lot more self sacrificing and more balanced power wise
I’m wondering how much of this genre you read if you think it’s that simmilar.. LMAFOO this is my favorite genre so I’ve read maybe 80 manhwa’s that have those exact things in common- that’s pretty normal lol I mean if you reincarnate with memories or have knowledge about the future why wouldn’t you use it? And main characters wouldn’t be fun if they didn’t have some level of charisma or a personality
After having read the novel of ORV I cannot agree to them being similar. If yer stating the theme or the genre, then that's a bunch of series. However, neither the characters nor plot is similar at all.
Where you're using the book knowledge with Dokja it's only so-so on that since it's more so with uh, well I can't really say since it would be a large spoiler, but I'd have to say it's more towards following a set path that he was always bound to follow.
While here, Jinhyuk just knows info about the game because he played it religiously until he managed to beat the 50th floor. Since it became life, he knows the in's and outs of the game, but being the sole one to know leaves everyone else from harm. I think the only similar thing is the MC's way to draw in companions, but that's pretty much any of these genre types.
At least you're not one of the folks saying it's similar to Solo Leveling, that was a hot minute of comments back then.
I haven’t read the orv novel I’m just a webtoon reader who knows some spoilers. I personally feel they are similar in little ways not to be confused with identical. They do have differences and a lot of them but I just feel certain major themes and stuff have a similar ring to them. Like how jinhyuk is making his own family by gaining Allie’s without even realizing how much he’s beginning to care about them. It’s the same for Kim dokja. The only difference here is that Kim dokja is a lot more self sacrificing so he knows how much he cares for all of his found family
Bro fr the bookmark (copying skills thing) is the same too he even dress like KDJ the partner looks exactly like YJH though it could be since I'm only in the 10s the museum part was the same and... Just the vibe is kind of the same Ig? (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ I just came back to the comments to see if I'm the only one lol
God this is one of THE saddest things I've ever read. The fact that kister has to scare the person he loves most just to save him from his brother is just terrible and the fact that he's so content with being the bad guy just for Jonathan all because he didn't look down on his dreams. I also love how throughout the story you see kisters human sides and you see bits and pieces of his love for Jonathan throughout. This is such a brilliant story and I can't wait for it to be concluded.
I feel like y'all really dont understand the emotional side of this story. Like everyone is having on the fact that the brothers made up so quick when in fact it was like that for a reason. Like it was legit said in it it too. Like keichi and Jun had sex and in a way it was rape but just as Jun said, he wanted it and liked it because he wanted to have some sort of relationship with his brother. And his brother was so jealous of Jun because his parents practically favored jusln he wanted to punish or control Jun. And I'm not saying the northern was in the right what I'm saying is that there was a reason. And the reason they removed things so fast was because Jun finally said exactly how he felt about his brother to him which then made keichi want to open up as well. They both wanted to be good brothers and have a good relationship but neither knew how to do it. Also the same wasn't playing God. He was trying to resolve the issue because he understood the situation. That's why he gave Jun the option to do whatever he wanted with/to his brother. Also Jun wasn't traumatised from the sex/rape. He was traumatised by the submissiveness. That's why when dominating he doesn't think of his brother. I rest my case.
I know the author didn’t specify but dojae is so autism coded and I love seeing rep for the things we struggle with
