What's happening is beyond rape, as if it wasn't bad enough. I can't put into words how any of this is utterly disgusting.
And if the author decides that ml will end up with haeyoung thinking we'll follow this decision, because she/he decided to make a repentance arc by making him less evil or abusive, then they are as fcked up as these characters.
If she/he thinks this is the right and normal way to finish this yaoi, then mental help is highly recommended.
I can't see this as just a simple read. This has to be a moral lesson that teach people that these abusive behaviors are monstrous and have to be punished.

A toxic relationship can realistically end that way, it can turn abusive at any time like in this story. The difference between this story and other toxic stories is that this story portrays it realistically and in a brutal way without sugarcoating at all. It also portrays the psychological responses of the MC realistically, explaining why even some people can't leave their abuser. People can also learn moral lessons from this story, it's a matter of perspective.
I agree compare to other stories that actually show that it is okay if the mc is raped by the ml coz there are "supposed" to be in love this story is a million times better coz not only does it show the mindset of the mc but also the way his body is reacting to all this which is causing him to break down further. ╥﹏╥
Also pls stop hating on the author coz truth be told never once in or out of the story did they say it was ok to be raped and the mc ending up with the ml (which is the ending people are saying is) can be true is some case even irl so i think it is very much possible to the mc seeing the way he is reacting to all this. #－.－)
