I love the main story, but the last chapter just didn't click for me. Mimi stated that she wasn't transitions for no other reason more than because she obviously felt like a girl, even saying that her gender has always been a hindrance for her. Someone who's trans just doesn't suddenly decide that they will stay as their assigned gender just because. The author shouldn't have declared Mimi as someone oh so obviously trans but as someone that loves drag a lot and whose life revolves around it, yet their love was so strong it was enough to make them give up on that passion. There, a coherent plot. (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸

With this story I understand him a little better and why he's like he's, but still, there's never an excuse for being an abuser, whether it's domestic abuse, psychological abuse or whatever, NEVER. I still can't forgive him. He should have let himself get help by the one he supposedly loved, he just didn't wanna change at all ( ̄へ ̄)

I don't think anyone is asking for forgiveness. What you should gain from reading his perspective is empathy. While abuse is not justifiable, it's important to understand the circumstances that could lead an individual to express through violence. "Black companies" as they call it actually do exist in Japan -while this is a fictional story, there are people in similar circumstances to Kan.

because instead of getting help he hurt another human being. i have been abused and sexually harassed, i suffer daily from my own demons and even deal with anger issues, yet that's not an excuse for me to go out and abuse of another human being. as much trauma as he has been through, there's never an excuse for abuse.

The hasn't been one story yet where i hated the protagonist with such passion, and yet, here we are, wishing Minjae the worst. He's a selfish, narcissistic, psychopath and emotionless jerk. He pushed that kid towards suicide and even then he wasn't even capable of feeling any remorse. The only reason why he felt a lil bit guilty of Eunsung was bc he was his dad's kid and only that. He deserves all the pain he's suffering and more.
I've genuinely cried several times reading this. Totally worth it, a depiction of a very real story with very real characters and very real every-day-life situations that your or me or your neighbor could find themselves into any day.
