It's briefly mentioned in the prologue that every man in Feria's fiefdom refused to be her fiance. So by that fact, I think she's not really well appreciated because her commoner tendencies by other noblemen and The Crown Prince is the only one who attracted to her despite her shortcoming. So it's kind of understandable for her to fall in love due to that. For Macron, he fell in love with Feria because she's the only one who didn't selfishly impose herself on him unlike the other ladies. She even comforted him by letting him rest despite that would cause her allocated day to be wasted. For the queen, I think she can do that better than the other ladies as she know the hardship of the commoner instead of just being a doll who only know how to uselessly flaunting power and money. Even if she's still a beginner at lady's etiquette but she has the will to learn and the ability to persevere, so I'm sure that she can do it well.
