I like slow stories too and i dont mind toxic characters as long as they have good character development in the end but i lost my hopes in the last two chapters... The sex scene was unnecessary... But today's chapter made up for that. Now we indeed need to see him cry and feel remorse

I hate this chapter so much omfg I can't believe this, where is the story heading to? If jj refused dan and just put him to sleep it would be okay bc we would see some character development but wtf he is actually getting worse! Dan almost passed out and he just smacked him wtf bro, i had hopes for his redemption till the last chapter but now i honestly can't see it happening...
When i tried to read pearl boy a while back i couldn't even finish season 1 so i dropped it and returned to it months later with a stronger stomach and ready to read whatever disturbing stuff there would be in it... I think I'm gonna do the same with this side story because chapter 8 truly made me physically sick I'm not even kidding... Yuta running away and the seme catching up to him was terrifying.
