I'm not a veterinarian but I've had to witness it sadly. It's not a fun thing for the female.
Writing my knowledge below cuz it's not a pretty thing.














Usually you gotta hold her still cuz she'll try to leave, especially if it's her first time, but the knot hurts if it's pulled out forcibly, and can cause damage inside. That's why they whine.
The knot will ease up after some minutes, leaving the female free to go, most likely pregnant.

Lmao. It depends on the story dear. If a couple wanted to have kids the natural way and are consensual about it it will still hurt. Now if done intentionally or out of neglect then that's different. In many stories knotting isn't done unless both consent to it. But some stories it happens or the writer makes it as if when the alpha is so turned on he (or she) loses control of themselves or wants to dominate or control.

But out in the wilderness it's nature's call.

Ya it does depends on each story but knotting is an option for them. Even without knotting, they are able to conceive child in a very natural way. They only do knotting to increase the pregnancy which alpha usually misuses to make omega wholly theirs meow or lose control over the pleasure

if the alpha cares about the omega, he/ she won’t let their instinct to knot a omega and hurt them.

But hey who knows I m not expert in this field so maybe the omega recessive needs knotting to get pregnant dear or idk Σ( ￣□￣||).

In Omegaverse (not irl) most settings dictates knotting IN ORDER for omegas to get pregnant. Some authors tweak that up and decides that although it is rare it is possible to get pregnant OUTSIDE of heats/ruts/knotting/and regardless of being recessive omegas but is rare and an exception. So yes, knotting is REQUIRED for conception. It is there for that purpose.

Hmmmm I don’t think it is require required, well knotting does help omega get pregnant but knotting is mainly to increase the chances of getting pregnant.

Omega are still able to pregnant without it cause knotting just means alpha’s pp swells with more white thingy and pushed inside the omega’s body more to keep the alpha’s seed.

For example dogs, they don’t need knotting but they still do it cause it increases the chance of pregnancy. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧.

nothing official for sure but both of them have alr developed some crazy attachment with one another and for some reason arent shy about it lmao
