seungtaek’s hair grew it looks so good!!

this is the kind of manhwa that you have to read twice to understand every part. when you read the first 10 chapters for the first time, you have no idea that kyubin & seungtaek we’re at a “break” moment in their relationship.

i wish you could add images here, but here are some quotes from ch1-10 that give subtle hints of kyubin trying to rekindle his relationship w seungtaek & their relationship in general:

kyubin to seunghee: “did you have fun today? it wasn’t fun for me at all... about seungtaek. don’t you think he’s too close-minded? he just wants to be like everyone else. aren’t you happier when your dressed like a girl?” (kyubin referring to seungtaek’s fear of what everyone would think if they were in a relationship)

kyubin to seunghee, after putting on his wig: “the reason why i wanted us to be friends is because... i envy the way you can be true to yourself.” (being openly gay)

seungtaek to seunghee: “i don’t get it. if i was you, i would’ve tried to hide it (cross dressing) for as long as i could” (seungtaek preferring to deny his identity than “exposing” himself to others)

seungtaek to kyubin while fighting: “if you don’t wanna get hurt, don’t cross the line.” (don’t cross the line=stop forcing me into being so “open” or you’ll end up getting hurt by me denying it)

^ kyubin’s response to seungtaek: “you shouldn’t cross the line either. you seem into acting like some sorta prince on a white horse these days, but you shouldn’t treat me this way, you’re hurting my feelings. it’s your turn to get beaten. it hurt a bit, you ready?” (seungtaek was being a prince to seunghee by protecting him from kyubin, but in reality it’s just him running away from his true feelings for kyubin and ignoring their problems)

the quotes are rly long, but in ch8, after the drag competition, kyubin tries to make advances towards seunghee and bombards him with questions like “how do you feel when you’re with a guy” & “have you kissed a guy” honestly idk if that part was kyubin replacing seungtaek with seunghee for pleasure or testing seunghee’s reaction, but still big foreshadowing

i seriously love how the author adds those little details, and what i love the most is that when we started reading those hints, no one would ever suspected that kyubin and seungtaek were actually “dating” beforehand. (at least i didn’t)

seunghee and suhyeok have a 9cm height difference. brb lemme go cry

this is one of the best manhwa’s i’ve ever read. the story is such a slow burn and the relationships between the characters are so genuine. if you stop reading bc it seems confusing bc of a certain shift, pls continue!! the main character isn’t really treated as such in the beginning but he will later on. *spoilers ahead for ppl reading the beginning* seungtaek and kyubin are one of the best couples ever wtf. i love their dynamic of uptight class rep & easy going troublemaker. i srsly thought the story would be a love triangle between seunghee & the two and i was like ehh :/ but once it revealed that they actually like each other and showed their backstory i loved it so much. now with suhyeok and seunghee, at first i thought their relationship was forced, but then when they shifted the focus of the story to them, i uwu’ed whenever they interact, esp, them laying down on suhyeok bed. but im lowkey suspicious of suhyeok bc he has secrets, but hopefully it won’t turn seunghee away bc they’re so cute :((( *end of spoilers* this was so long lmao, but this manhwa is so underrated. the characters are so realistic and many issues are talked about. pls give it a read it literally changed my life lmao
