Is there a reason 2nd couple isn't their own manga? Don't get me wrong, I love them...But the connection to the main couple is tangible at best and one of the two leads doesn't even show up anymore.
I just find this strange in general, and in this case particularly. The 2nd couple has nothing to do with the "main" couple. I feel like they should have been their own separate work.
Anybody else sort of annoyed by some translators adding their personal input throughout the manga?
I don't mind the credits page or memes at beginning/end of a chapter, but I do mind when a translator adds sth like "how dumb can these two be, am I right?" mid panel.
I dropped mangas over this. I don't want to ruin it for people who seem to like it in comment section..But it just really takes me out of moment ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

But yeah I don't like it either. But I love the comments when you're reading a comedy because the translator's comedy can make it better.
The problem is that you have to read it to see if it's a genuine note about the translation, but if it's not it can really interrupt the mood and flow of reading, unfortunately.
That is another OCD where everything must flow perfectly,
just like my OCD in commenting in the internet over unimportant stuff i don't agree with and result to inflaming subject.
Trying to control OCD is annoying but its needed for mental health....

Oh, I'm sorry you have that experience. It's not OCD in my case, just a preference to understand the translation better by reading the translator's notes, and an enjoyment of being immersed in a story. But I know it's truly difficult when it's hard to calm your feelings if you don't act in a certain way or have things a certain way. I know it's a challenging road ahead (goodness knows I'm still not good at managing the issues I do actually have), but I hope things improve for you.

Mmm yes but I dont think we have the right to complain. If we don't like it we can learn a language or buy the chapters so I mean I try to not even worry about it
SAME it just completely ruins my flow. I get immersed in certain stories and my brain is just rapidly reading everything on the screen so I’m not fast enough to block it out. I mean maaaybe if it’s like just once or twice it’s ok, but if it’s a lot I’m like..... I’m appreciative of the translators and all the work they do but I feel like the place for comments is in the bottom

As I said I dropped the many as where this happens s lot. But I see it as a growing trend lately and I just found it odd. Wanted to know if it is just me not liking them.
I guess that is true. I just dropped the many as didn't want to comment under them, bc it might discourage the translator (and some people like it, or don't mind it).
I just wanted to get it out here, just in general, not to tell someone how to upload the many as.
Some opinions is okay,but translator's notes/Tn like 'omg he's so cute uwu' is abit....
