Oh God, I finished this. I remember when I first read this, Ye Ling really looked like my crush back then, as pale, tall, skeletal, and even has a mole (i think) like him. He was handsome like him, and thinking about the past (duh, things you do when you have a crush) make me fricking cringe! Coming back here to read this since it's completed and nostalgia, I just wanted to kill Ye Ling and wipe his face (oh god the embarassment) He also seemed like an asshole when he said his feelings were lies, and how he didn't know he hurt her wtf, and it was resolved to Kele not knowing his past and being insensitive. I'm kind of dissapointed, it started out good from what I remember then it was rushed, and that blue haired guy's feelings just came out of nowhere, and the part when Kele's mom said she's not her daughter. The translation was just urgh...

I mean all of them died, including Arslan and Daryun. That musician boy (i forgot his name) live up to his 30s and died because of a disease and was depressed. Farangis died in her 50s. The only one who had a happy ending is Elam. And the countries surrounding Pars and Pars included lost all its monarchy becahse all royals are dead, except Sindhura, that king who always betrays Arslan's group when Arslan helped him become king *facepalm*. Anyways, it was said that vol. 8 to the last novel were just turning sh-t. It's like the author just wants to end his book by making everyone go to heaven and live there happily ever after *facepalm*. Seriously, you just don't send your main characs on to a journey and just kill them in the most stupidest way possible. Like this was all about war and stuff, and then it turned into some fantasy sh-t. I mean there were low fantasy elements but it just lost all of its color.

Yep yep. Hopefully it'll get changed since it's the author of FMAB who's writing the manga.

This manga is so well written and developed! Probably one of my favorites! Characters are well developed, and they're relatable. I could totally relate to Yuusa, and I'm totally envious of people like Himekawa who face anything head on and is not afraid of trying, despite him having a difficult past. I'm not an optimist but his way of thinking just inspires me to be like him! He reminds me of my friend who got bereft of her father in a young age, also showing signs of leukemia, but despite that she's still in her best shape. Himekawa's mother too has also great character development. Most bl mangas just tend to kill the mc's parents, if not then, they're just abusive, spiteful, pitiful, mentally ill, left out of the picture, or just doesn't give any care about their child who they found out was gay, despite taking care of them for years.
The romance too is well put out and paced, just so fluffy and cute! The manga has extras, it's just not scanlated or translated yet. If you want to see it, just search for it in the comments section.
I really love this manga, something I could read from time to time. Sawaragi is my type of seme, that hot looking uncle oml. He was a bit boring but his maturity and his face totally hit the mark for me. I was a bit confused, how did Shuuya ended up in jail?

Also why did they have sex so soon, isn't that going to hurt? Why don't they go to the hospital, get it treated or something? Though I know that Maki wants to have sex with Shuu so badly, I guess Maki has this unconscious validation that if Shuu really loves him then he must have sex with him. So Shuu did it so that he won't be insecure anymore.
