The flashback story or Harsen and Ercella(?) makes my heart ache so much. Also, it seems like Harsen truly love her however can't express that much his love because of what the late duke taught him. While Ercella don't know if she loves Harsen but there's no doubt that she cares so much for him.

It's just sad... especially on Harsen, right now I think he's envy that Ercella is showing so much attention to Vicente. Plus he was furious when Ercella was with a man when she went out. I wish their relationship won't get worsen. I love them both.


Also, I wish that man won't flirt with Ercella. Like dude, she's a married woman for more than 15 years with a kid.

Both parents are bad but only the mom's getting so much blame. He doesn't even wants happiness for his son yet blaming her for being a terrible mother. You aren't any better. You're just bitter because she doesn't love you, as if you're truly love her letting her be an outcast in her own household. How could he not see it? That's ridiculous. The expectation for mothers always sky high while father's doing a good job for doing the bare minimum.

One of the things i love about thus is how suddenly everyone's inter therapist just comes out . Yall put more thinking in this shit that in your irl problems and honestly me too

Damn, this manhwa really wrote the characters as realistically as possible. As a young girl who had a child at the age of 17 ( prob ). Before age of 17, she studied non-stop and had not much fun in her life and was forced to marry someone who is her best option. Then having a partner who is cold and busy, with her father dying during her pregnancy and her lover being busy to attend to her father's funeral AND HAVING RELATIVES GOING AGAINST HER, WANTING TO TAKE HER FATHER'S TITLE... goshh i would have gone crazy because of how young her mentality was and how she is still a teenager. I don't blame her for hating her own child because she had no one to hate on. The author did a great job at showing the mental issues she was experiencing. Some more, she was alone, no one in her husband's household people accepted her as she was someone who is from a family that they did not trust. She literally got no one since having the child. THEN, GETTING BLAMED FOR NOT TREATING THE CHILD BETTER LIKE ITS ONLY HER FAULT SHIT ENDED UP LIKE THAT GOSH the husband also have fault in it and he talked like it was her fault that shit ended up this way. Hopefully, things will go well for her and her family and child. They all have their flaws but they don't deserve a bad ending. But, I got a feeling, our FL will get the disease and slowly die. That is when the child will realise that he need to forgive her for her ways before it is too late...

I cried so hard when her backstory was shown. I mean, what she did by neglecting her own son wasn't right, but I understand and pity her at the same time. She sacrificed herself for her family, was outcasted in her husband's household, and was alone and lonely. And all that lead to depression. Depression isn't easy. Yet no one understood her and no one was by her side. If only she had someone, then wouldn't things turn out good instead of bad?

Why do I think that prince was pretending to be a jerk. As we can see that emperor is a lunatic so he is always looking for others' weakness. That is why prince didn't want Rael to face any danger because of his lunatic father. I think he just doesn't want emperor to know that he loves Rael as emperor can make use of her to control the prince just like ishid doesn't want emperor to know about yunifer.

ok but like can we appreciate yunifer more? like she’s so pretty and bold. and i love how she just trashes the orginal plot/fate like most of the time the fml always focus sm on the the book og story and it becomes annoying. i love how she just gradually fell for him too and decided to just stay. im tired of the whole depressive arc where the fml will push the ml away blah blah blah

I hate the ml. Ok the things they don’t talk about are misunderstandings right? But when they do talk he fucking invalidates her trauma by saying he’s had it worse? As if he knows what she’s been through? She’s ducking suicidal and you say she wants attention? Is he that full of himself to think that she would kill herself for him? He doesn’t know anything that she’s been through and keeps on saying how she grew up nicely but does he know what she’s feeling? Just cause she has money means she can’t be suffering? Are you serious? And assuming everything she says is her looking down on him as a “commoner” when she literally just wants to have a normal conversation.. I hate him so much

no cause im so goddamn irritated by everyone shitting on mc, like if i was on her place and i gave birth while i was 16 i’d be FOR SURE acting like her (this story is probably by far my favorite one because i resonate a lot with mc and her decisions) there has been so much stories like this with the mc MUCH worst (torturing physical and mentally) but i’ve never seen THIS much hate bashing the mc. you guys’s mentality is directing your attention only on her wrongs and not seeing how she’s literally changing for the better (and i LOVE THE FACT THE WAY SHE’S THRIVING TO BE A BETTER MOTHER/PERSON IS REALISTICALLY WRITTEN), toxic much? you mc overly haters give me traditional asian mom vibes lmao, im gonna be damn if till the end some of you guys still hate her.

tbh, i think the reason why lots of people hate mc till now is because they’ve been reading too much unrealistic stories with the same genre of this but more—i dont know how to explain it— different? and too easy? idk lol but mc is very relatable, as someone who has a mother like her but sadly she remains being insecure and a bad mother. giving birth really takes toll on a women’s mind.

i love how every character has their own POVs so we can learn more about each of them. this even helped me understand my parents since i have similar household as the one in this manhwa. sometimes, we forget that our parents are individuals who also go through some things. we just see them as adults whose responsibility is to take care of us. this isnt an excuse or justification for their bad actions but just a reminder that parents are flawed human beings too

this is the first family manhua i liked sm. the inside and outside conflict of each characters is well written & this is how i imagined the situation of most, if not all political marriages are in the past. fl may get a lot of hate but i think her character really shows how humans act when affected by emotions. idk how to explain further buuuut i really like the characters!!!!

Guys, she gave birth at SIXTEEN and then got postpartum depression. So I don't think you can resent her for that, I'm not saying that she didn't neglect her child, she absolutely did, but at least she's trying to make amends for her mistakes and build a connection with her son...
