To be honest, at first I didn't particularly care for the female lead. However, now this is one of my favorites to see in my notifications. The characters are developing subtle layers to their personalities and motives. Can't wait to see how the story progresses. Give it a try! 30 ish chapters isn't too much of an investment.
Right, but honestly I go for the “not so subtle developments” in characters.. I just find mangas with that kind of perspective pretty infuriating to read, and the comments said something about the female character hesitating to tell her potential lover that he might be killed by his blood relative? I’m just a little hesitant lol, I’m afraid it’s gonna turn out to be an easy happy ending or that the chapters are gonna drag, and the characters will be reluctant to confess their feelings to one another. You’re right though! I’ll give it a try, the art is to die for ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Just gonna put this out there, Chiwoo and Jihyung’s relationship was way too (romantically-wise it’s very one-sided you could say) obsessive (one sided also) and indisputably, toxic ( idk how to even describe it ngl...
Even as this manga made me feel all kinds of unease and discomfort, I’m hoping both Chiwoo and Jihyung heal even if not fully (yes they are both victims of somethin’ and it’s really saddening for the viewers to read, because the two “friends” didn’t break it off the moment it got to straight up violence and harassment.) Reading this gave me so much pain because it’s what could happen to any of us.
I’m not an expert on these kinds of topics but, bear with me, I’m hoping that both Chiwoo and Jihyufind find healthy love. Not just for these two fictional characters, but for you guys as well. Always learn to give yourself a little bit of love even if no one’s willing/not there with you to give some..
At the end of the day, you can love and miss someone bad, but you are *fine* with never seeing them again.. know this? Their relationship couldn’t be anything beyond the point of madness because it clearly took a terrible toll on the both of them..
Maybe some of you think Jihyung could be given another chance, but no—personally I think not. It is sad, but it is time to move on. Not with all the things he did to Chiwoo, and even the things he did to INNOCENT people. He harmed them, and that is not okay. He didn’t kill anyone, yet he was a dangerous person that needed lots of love and empathy. It was time to let go for the both of them.
This was totally saddening to read but definitely a meritorious tale of reality. “Back to School” truly gives depth to what it means to forgive but never forget. Let go of the past, don’t let it define you, and remember— come out as a better person.
I hope you all walked away from this manga learning something, whether this situation relates to you or not. That’s all I have to say.

Yes, he was raped by Jihyung, and to be totally honest with you, Chiwoo was scared that Jihyung might actually hurt someone to the brink of death if it means getting him all to himself.

Hello! I think there is a new translator so a lot of the old chapters got repeated in the new translation. Effectively Chapter 175 is the same as Chapter 329 so I would read from 1-174 and then continue at what here is Chapter 329! The story is a little confusing but very creative, if that makes any sense .-. Basically the ML got brainwashed for a bit and lost his memories because of the green haired girl but don't worry, the main ship with the MC is still going!
