I cried so much during this, Arima and Taiga are both precious and I love them.
The character development was absolutely fantastic, especially Taiga’s. He went from a naive, pretentious and kinda selfish boy from someone who try to understand other better, not seeing them for their apparence or gender but for who they really are. Oh and Arima’s past and trauma were so damn sad and realistic, it causes him so much pain and hardship. I’m so happy Taiga and also his father saved him.
Speaking of Taiga’s father, I love how the author portrayed him as someone not perfect, who has his bad side, like hurting his family, but he has regret and try to be a good dad to Taiga. He wants to cherish him and do his best to not repeat his mistakes. (Actually, I don’t really know if he really cheated on her. When he saved Arima and gave him a flower, I thought that maybe he just didn’t want to go see his wife and not because he was seeing another woman). And let’s not forget Taiga’s trauma of losing his mom while his dad didn’t seem to care about her. It causes him to saw the world superficially, thinking only about the good side, and purposely avoiding the bad to not suffer. Good for him, after falling in love with Arima, he learned how to understand, empathize with other. And Arima is slowly but surely healing himself thanks to Taiga.
They are both so adorable, the kiss at the end was so cute, no need for sex or what, they love each other.
Finally, I heard the author, Peyo, passed away.
Ma Peyo-sensei rest in peace and thank you for giving us this wonderful manga.
After rereading the last chapter (damn did I cried again), I think that Taiga’s father did cheat on his wife before she got sick, then he tried to redeem himself, but he did not have any courage or even didn’t feel any right to apologize. But we can see that he is trying his best for Taiga now even though Taiga looks like he hated his dad, their relationship seems better now and I’m happy. Tho, I wonder if Arima and his mother reconciliate?
On that last chapter, Taiga’s said such powerful words. It’s because we live in a society that we can’t live as who we really are, that we struggle to find out what we really want. Arima doesn’t need to be a girl or a boy, he can just be Yuu.
This is so cuuute, I already love both of them!! They have cute personality and I love their chemistry.
I personally found this chapter funny, but for those who didn’t, well, I think the author made the jokes bad on purpose because well, they are amateur and even the teacher said it lol.
And as someone said it before, japanese comedy, especially manzai comedy is really different from what we find funny vs what japanese find funny, so manzai comedy is certainely not for 90% of you probably.
(Oh and I love how the translator (uploader?) said that it reminded them of Rosho x Sasara hehe, I love them too)
Gosh they are so dumb I love them so much aaaaaah.
