Mincheol is actually portrayed realistically. It shows how genuine he is before reality and adulthood reached to him. When he married Haesoo, he really wants to build a loving home and stability with her but reality hits where they got into debt and Haesoo miscarriage. And the fact that Haesoo always work 24/7 to the point that Mincheol got bored and tired of that cycle so he became like that. Just like how irl probably most men will be like that if they were in the situation.
Ikr, and it's so sad :(( i heavily despise cheating and still can't wrap it around my head how some men can do shit like this. It's not hard to stay with the same person and build a better life with them especially if the other person clearly loves you so much even though you've been together for many years
