What I love about this BL is that it makes fun of the usual toxic abusive rapist ML that falls for a poor, spineless but cute MC. Those stories are usually so predictable and boring full of jealousy, possessiveness, violence and rape on their way to a their happy ending. To each their own taste but I don’t get the hype. So it’s a delight to see it from outsiders POVs here. Now Yohan is a manipulative psycho plain and simple, just born that way and Jun is a self-centered, selfish, calculating, insecure ans mean little shit and I love the two of them together. They’re not nice. They’re not the good guys and they’re relationship won’t be not smooth either but still it’s an enjoyable ride.

Unlike the MC who spent so many years pining, why are people assuming that that other guy, the senpai, never ever dated anyone else before meeting his fiancé ? Why can’t MC be one of those people ? Same for the fiancé, he could very well be experiencing his own high school romance at the same time.
MC got to experience something as crazy and as impossible as time travel. He doesn’t why, how, if it’ll last or if it’s even reality. All he knows is that it happened after realizing the biggest regret of his life, yet people are surprised he decided to make a move and expect him to abide to some weird code of conduct from the book of “IF YOU EVER HAPPEN TO TRAVEL IN THE PAST AND MEET YOUR CRUSH”.
People talking about the person the senpai was “meant to end up with” as if fate is not at hand here like? But anyway, for now, things don’t even look good for the MC to begin with so no need for the moral police to be alarmed at their future ship being hindered.

Like it’s truly one of the most refreshing story I’ve seen recently. It’s funny, tragic, touching, with a great plot and art, but I can’t wrap my head around the romance that’s to come. If I had it my way they’d reunite as carer and ward and nothing more. I’m willing to see this through tho, it’s so well written that I want to hope it’ll all make sense and be an easy transition for me to accept and root for, I really hope it won’t turn into the usual clichés.

All I feel is annoyance. The MC’s attitude is super patronizing lol, “JUST TELL HIM, IT’S HIS LIIIFE”… sigh but then I remember that it’s not a couple that got together through their communicating skills lol but more so a toxic situation that turned into a relationship.

True, he’s deeply traumatized, when he says he’s trying to protect Taeyoon’s happiness it feels instead that he wants to protect his own happiness. I mean from that dream he had, it’s clear he’s afraid of everything falling apart if Taeyoon learns the truth, that he’d abandon him. As a result, he’s trying to control everything and won’t give Taeyoon the freedom the make his own choices, which when we think about how their relationship started with Taeyoon literally on a leash, confined to MC’s place is just full circle. It could be interesting if it ends up with some real progress, growth and healing for the MC.

Right, to me this looks almost impossible to resolve because of the complex underlying issues. If their relationship was based on love, then I could see it. But it’s more of based on sex, their pheromones bond and a child. It also looked to me like a slight case of Stockholm syndrome for ML mixed with their pheromones bond making him feel like he was falling in love.

And this comment section is the proof of that. Some even see that JJ is wrong but in order to condemn what JJ did they need to make it seem as if both are at fault lol. On a side note I hate how a seme being angry always means no prep even with knowing how much it hurt and that they could injure their partner. I hate the way they use sex as a way to vent their anger and punish the uke because it’s simply violence and in many cases outright rape. People would call it out if they started hitting their partner but since it’s “sex” people give it a pass.
I hate stories between the victim and their abuser aka Taesan and Junwoo type. So the MC who is carefully navigating the little high school social games and hierarchy ladder to stay safe is a breath of fresh air. Anyway he’s not a good person, neither is Yohan or all the people surrounding them. The webtoon is very well done but it’s leaving out a lot of the intricacies from the novel unfortunately! I feel like at this stage I’m the novel, by now, the MC character is well explained and people don’t have anymore illusions or expectations about what kind of person he is lol.
