Just my opinion, I think this manhwa is pretty poorly written. Ineffective MC, drags out for too long, really makes women look like idiots. The “older” woman is a voluptuous woman who still looks like she’s 19, purely to fulfil the “forbiddenness” of older woman x younger man, without all the realities of dating an older woman. And they act like 33 years old is a dying old hag?!
And they are dragging out this cheating plot, there is zero reason for Mincheol to continue featuring, the author is dragging out the plot so readers will keep coming back hoping that she will break things off with her husband.
I do agree with you somewhat but I do believe that the author has a reason for all of the events occurring, it is supposed to be slow burn and the ex probably keeps coming back into the picture to achieve an audience who is always dying to know what is next. Also yes I do think the author does make her age too dramatic as well because 33 isnt old at all but I think its because Taeha is so young that the "older woman" is going to be a bad influence because shes more "mature" than him, I believe thats what the author was going for, also ofc shes going to be young looking, like have you seen most 33 year olds now a days, and I dont believe the author wouldve recieved the audience they wanted if they didnt make her look beautiful for her age. overall I dont believe its poorly written like you say I just believe the author has their own way to write this and it is a pretty good manhwa.

Why are people confused about the story? The front seasons covered most of the characters’ interlinked past and they defeated Hwan, the main antagonist. Now it’s the next season and there’s new monsters and it’s revealing more about the underworld.
Quick summary on the characters’ history:
704 (black hair repear) and Eunjae (grey hair human) were brothers in their past life, while San (blonde) was close friends with 704 since childhood. San’s family was a shaman family while 704’s family was sort of like nobility and his father was a high ranking official.
Hwan, that ghostly monster, existed due to all the wars and famine and other terrible stuff, and was wrecking havoc. It possessed 704’s father who then massacred the village including San’s family. San escaped with his family heirloom, a golden fan. While running away he meets Yama (one of the underworld kings) who sort of “releases” the heirloom into its goblin form, and that Goblin is Geumsun (blue hair).
Geumsun ends up falling in love with 704 who takes care of him. However, 704 later learns that Hwan has been haunting his brother Eunjae all this time and Eunjae has been giving in to protect 704. 704 confronts Hwan to save Eunjae. Eunjae, possessed by Hwan, ends up killing 704. In the fight Hwan ends up severely wounded. The manga then starts after this in modern time.
if i'm not mistaken the blonde childhood friend of the brothers in their past life was hoseung and he reincarnated as eunjae's dog also having the same name. He's San's ancestor

I believe the corpse that Gang-oh (the new goblin) found was Eunjae’s corpse! In Chapter 106, Eunjae’s wearing the same coloured robes after he stabbed himself to save everyone from Hwan (who had possessed him). I suppose Gang-oh might be the second ML for Eunjae
