They are both illegal, but I think there's been cases in the past with other webtoons where people got in trouble for uploading translations with licensed titles. If you think about it if people uploaded translations when the official english chapter has not even been released yet, there will be even LESS people buying the official release.

Also another thing- if someone is uploading translated chapters then the person uploading and buying the official english chapters will stop uploading them. What happens when the translator eventually drops this project or gets too busy? No one will be uploading the chapters anymore. Just be patient.

Nope. I (and a few other people) pay for all chapters on the legal site (Tappytoon) so your broke ass can read it for free here. Uploading chapters that aren't even released yet is just fucking rude toward people like me. (I'm here because Tappytoon doesn't have a comment section BTW)

Couldn't have said it better myself. Not to mention how rude it is to the author and the official english release platform. These "broke ass" people are on the fast track to ruining it for the rest of us, when authors decide official english trans is a waste of time since impatient pricks are half-assing their own versions

Hm. I am sorry but i am very suspicious with declarations like yours. I mean there are many sites that do not upload mangas and you can have a conversation with others about it and no advertising. What are you doing here? Also, how did you read some of the work you have in your profile that there is no official translation? Maybe there is a logical answer to all these (cant say no) but my broke ass is always wondering.

Still. It's only logical and fair that people who pays for it could read it before us. And lots of people, after being able to read it for free and faster than the licensed, won't pay for the official chapters that would be releases later. (That would frankly bé m'y case. It's sas but the easy way...) That would just lead to the author's salary dropping and not being able to continue the story. I already heard of authors dropping series because of that.

Yes you are right. I read things here BECAUSE they don't have an official translations. But you bet when they do I will be there paying, so the authors can have a living. My problem is when people don't have a sense of boundary. Just don't fucking fan translate series that have an official release. That's it. Do you want my bank transaction confirmations of what I pay monthly to Lezhin, Tappytoon and Tapas? :-)

I am just suspicious by comments like that here, but you said that you do read for free other stories so i get it. I have read bs comments though stating they never read a manga for free and the comment is on mangago....
