I think it’s funny that when theres an antagonist and if he is hot. As long as he didn’t rape the uke, readers are craving for him and will forgive anything. Brutally beating up the uke or ruining uke’s life is no big deal. But if he rapes the uke, that is too much and readers wish the rape didn’t rape because suddenly it’s too much.
Like yes, rape is bad, but they are so many things that can do as much damage as rape.
So yea... it’s pretty sad that so many readers are highly against rape, but are greatly accepting in other abusive behaviors. GG
