I kinda understand big bro cos hes guilty why his lil sis was lost so he easily manipulated. Mc nearly lose her life and their father because of him. Sorry i dont remember much now. Mc has the soft spot for the duke but she has to leave the family in the end cos she need to moved on from them(shes tired living as someonelse) and finally do the things she like(to become an archeologist) afterall she chose to stay in the novel than her current timeline she was comatose and her real family taking care of her and keep on regreting and doing everthing they can to heal her. When her coming of age he literally go all out andnmake it grand for her to let everyone know she is his daughter and she is loved, thonit wasbruin by big bro and the imposter sister(leila) .Hes the type of dad who doesnt know how to show affection to his children. When everything is okay now he cried when mc wants to leave the family and ask her to reconsider, he still wants to be a father to her but still he let her go and give her archeo tools.༎‿༎
